Earlier today, Lucas Poulain (Florida State University alum, #391 ATP) came out on top against fellow GSC player Timo Legout (#763 ATP, currently playing for the University of Texas at Austin) in a hard-fought first-round battle: 6–4, 7–6(6) after 2h25 of intense play.

Lucas advances and will face a Belgian player ranked #221 ATP on Wednesday or Thursday.
